People working from their homes tend to produce lots of paper waste. “Paper Stool” is a fun and refreshing way of dealing with this waste. The cellulose object combines the features of a paper bin and a stool. It starts from a flat shape, equipped with a foldable opening on top which allows for cropped paper to be inserted into the stool. As a result, the object slowly unfolds, expanding vertically until it can be sat upon like a stool. The weight of the sitter assists in compressing the paper crops inside and creating room for more crops. When the paper volume provides no more space and the stool is bursting at the seams, it is finally taken out to be recycled.
